The kick-off meeting of the RE-FEM project was held on 15-16 December 2022 in Bratislava, Slovakia. It was organised by the project coordinator, HETFA Research Institute, and hosted by the Slovak Business Agency.

The RE-FEM – „Upskilling pathways for REsiliency in the post-Covid era for FEMale Entrepreneurs“ project will work on decreasing gender inequality in entrepreneurship by supporting the capacity building of adult educators and women entrepreneurs. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme. Within RE-FEM, Institute Mihajlo Pupin is leading the work package dedicated to developing a final study including recommendations for policy and practices.

The consortium gathered for the first time in Bratislava with the aim to establish the main framework of project management and lay the foundations of good cooperation. The event was focused on several topics related to the thematic work packages in order to start project implementation. Furthermore, the meeting included sessions dedicated to introducing project partners, successful project management and communication, financial management, IPR notes and quality assurance.

On behalf of IMP, Dr. Dijana Štrbac and Srđan Orcević, MSc. Ecc. attended the meeting. In the session dedicated to presentation of partner organisations, Dr. Dijana Štrbac introduced Institute “Mihajlo Pupin” and Science and Technology Policy Research Centre. She has also presented the work package led by the IMP in terms of its objectives, tasks, timeline and contribution to the project results and milestones. Srđan Orcević, MSc. Ecc. contributed to the discussion related to financial management and financial administration of the project in accordance with the rules of the Erasmus+ Programme.
