In 2017, IMP Robotics Laboratory celebrated jubilee – 50 years of successful work. Robotics Laboratory is leading research centers and one of most successful scientific excellence centers in Serbia. Also, Robotics Laboratory is the oldest robotics laboratory in South-East Europe and one of world pioneers of research in humanoid robotics. Long tradition and experience, acquiring of contemporary world achievements in this attractive scientific discipline, broad knowledge of other technical disciplines, scientific creativity and intuition, combination of experience and youth are milestones of our laboratory. The working activity focus is oriented to scientific research in different areas of robotics and mechatronics, together with commercial engineering projects that considers design, reconstruction and adaptation of new and existing robotic and mechatronics systems. The Strategic p artners of Robotic Laboratory are Ministry of Education and Science of Republic of Serbia, government agencies, ICT industrial companies as well as European scientific institutions and research centers of similar professional orientation through EURON and EUROP networks. Robotics Laboratory has scientific collaboration with more leading research institutions in Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Slovenia, Hungary and Romania. Laboratory is active participant in FP7 European research projects, Swiss SNF projects and other bilateral projects with European partners. The leading researchers of Robotics Laboratory are lecturers on doctoral studies on Serbian universities and visiting professors at foreign universities – France and Hungary. Our researchers are members of ICT Scientific Council of Republic Serbia as well as members of important engineering associations (IEEE, IFAC). Robotics Laboratory are affirmative gender/age employer that represent co ntemporary European scientific center which is capable to realize, independently or in cooperation with partners, complex R & D projects from areas of robotics, mechtronics, system control, multi-agent systems and robot-sensor networks.
In our laboratory, creativity and positive competition spirit are stimulated as well as accepting of new ideas and intention for collaboration on international and domestic level.
