Simulation Program was formed in 1976, during development of the flight simulator for aircraft crew training. It was also a strong impulse to the development of all areas of computer technology and the dissemination of activities. Its development was the result of research and work of a multidisciplinary team, formed from several organizational units of the Institute. Simulation Program gradually developed in three directions:
