This year’s was the 30th anniversary of the international TELFOR conference, which was held on November 15 and 16, 2022 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belgrade. The Institute “Mihajlo Pupin” had a significant participation in TELFOR conference, being one of the sponsors and presenting its wide range of activities, and encouraging the participation of its employees through a large number of presented scientific papers.
TELFOR was also an opportunity for a special technical-commercial session “Solutions for signaling and telecommunications in railways”, presented by Ivan Kokić, research and development engineer of the Institute Mihajlo Pupin, providing all the information on the railway systems and communications development program.
The 30th anniversary of the TELFOR conference was an opportunity to invite our international partners and cooperators to assist and present their achievements during a one-day SINERGY H2020 project Open event, organized by Dr. Valentina Janev on 16. November. All interested conference visitors were invited to attend and participate in the Open event workshop. The general director of the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin”, Dr. Nikola Tomašević, opened this special part of the TELFOR conference, presenting the most significant aspects of the European projects in which the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin” is involved.
The performance of the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin” was additionally enhanced by the participation of the deputy director of the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin”, Dr. Marko Batić, in the panel session “Do you know what digitalization/digital transformation is?” where numerous aspects of understanding and implementation of digitization and digital transformation processes were deeply discussed.
The conference visitors had an opportunity to get to know more about a wide range of solutions from the Institute’s rich portfolio, by having a talk with our colleagues at a specially designed stand.
