On Wednesday, July 20, 2022, we had the pleasure of hosting the attaché for cooperation of the Embassy of France, Mr. François-Xavier Kowandy and Mrs. Vesna Adamović, mobility coordinator of the French Institute in Serbia.

The aim of the visit was to inform the attaché about the work and organization of the Institute Mihajlo Pupin, the most significant projects, achieved results and expertise of the Institute Mihajlo Pupin. The guests were welcomed by the Director General Dr. Nikola Tomašević and his associates. He presented the Institute’s portfolio, projects and results of cooperation with industry and international scientific research institutions.

During the discussion, various possibilities of improving the already established cooperation of the Institute Mihajlo Pupin with numerous institutions in France were considered. The participants of the meeting agreed that there would be a great potential of establishing new forms of cooperation in various scientific and technological fields of development.

Then, our guests have visited the Engineering in Thermal Power Plants laboratory (Institute Mihajlo Pupin – Automation and Process Control Ltd) where our colleagues presented two distinguished products: the test hydraulic station with a “2 out of 3” hydraulic block for the protection of steam turbines (SIL3 certified), and the VIEW T-POWER distributed control system. These two products are results from different research projects.
