On Friday, 11.08.2023., the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin“ had the pleasure of hosting H.E. Kalala Mulamba Joseph, the Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Mrs. Pikinini Jane, the First Secretary of the Ambassador.
During the visit, the delegation of the Democratic Republic of Congo was informed about the work and organization of the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin”, the most important projects, and achieved results. The guests were welcomed by the general director of the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin”, Dr. Nikola Tomašević, B.Sc. Eng., Assistant Director for Finance and Economy Cooperation, Željko Stojković, dipl. ing. and Assistant Director of IMP – Automation, Aleksandar Car, B.Sc. Eng. They presented the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin” portfolio, projects, and results of cooperation with industry and international scientific research institutions.
During the discussion, various possibilities for establishing cooperation between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin” in different scientific and technological fields of development were considered, with a special focus on the areas of the development of the toll collection systems and the power systems area.
