Definition and realization of strategic objectives of the Institute, including identification of suitable national and EU funding programmes, resource planning and work organization, quality control of ongoing R&D projects, coordination of partnership with international and national institutions from industrial and research sectors, planning of R&D potential development of the Institute.
Involvement in project coordination and technical management of R&D activities in various domains. Under the H2020 Work Programme, involved as the project coordinator (SINERGY) and technical coordinator (NEON, HESTIA, REACT and RESPOND). Technical management of Work packages and project tasks in a number of EU H2020, FP7 and FP6 projects. Participation in international Conference programme committees and as Conference session chair (such as TELFOR, AFIN, CISIM, ICTERI, VTC, ICIST, etc.). Serving as a reviewer for respectable international journals (Applied Energy (Elsevier), Transactions on Wireless Communications (IEEE), International Journal of Neural Systems (World Scientific), Artificial Intelligence Review (Springer), etc.). |
