We were pleased to welcome Prof. Jozo Dujmović back to the Mihajlo Pupin Institute, where he delivered a lecture titled ’Graded Logic for Decision-Making in Healthcare’.

The lecture explored the application of graded logic in developing explainable decision-support systems for healthcare. Prof. Dujmović presented its use in diagnostic models, disease severity assessment, treatment evaluation, vaccination and organ transplantation prioritization, the selection of medical equipment and software, and healthcare service planning.

We are especially proud that Prof. Dujmović began his research career at the Mihajlo Pupin Institute, where he contributed to the development of the SAVA process computer and metallurgical photodetectors. His return to the Institute is a reminder of our long-standing tradition of fostering innovation, scientific excellence, and internationally recognized researchers.
