A job interview is often the first significant step in a young professional’s career. That is why we were pleased to accept the invitation from the H-Bridges student organization to participate in a mock job interview event held in May at the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering. The event was designed to give students a realistic insight into the recruitment process and help them prepare for their future careers.
Through one-on-one interviews, the Institute Mihajlo Pupin team aimed to recreate the experience of a real job interview as closely as possible. Students had the opportunity to present their knowledge, experience, and interests while also gaining a better understanding of what awaits them as exams, coursework, and other academic obligations give way to projects, teamwork, and the responsibilities that come with a professional engineering career.
In addition to the interviews, we took the opportunity to talk with students about their career aspirations, interests, and expectations, as well as to introduce them to the internship opportunities available at the Institute Mihajlo Pupin.
We are particularly pleased by the strong interest shown in our internship programme, with all positions in the current cycle already filled.
