On Thursday, 26 February, the Institute Mihajlo Pupin had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Belgrade.
The delegation included Mr. Alexandre Fernández Llopart, Delegate of the Government of Catalonia for Southeast Europe at the Ministry for the European Union and Foreign Action; Mr. Álvaro Muñoz Camacho, Economic Counsellor and Head of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain; and the Director of the Zagreb Office of ACCIÓ – Catalonia Trade & Investment.

The distinguished guests were welcomed by Nikola Tomašević, PhD, Director of the Institute Mihajlo Pupin, Marko Batić, PhD, Assistant Director for International Cooperation and Technology Transfer, and Lazar Berbakov, PhD, Senior Research Associate.

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration in applied research and technology transfer, to identify concrete cooperation models and joint initiatives.

This visit marks an important step in further strengthening the ties between the research and innovation ecosystems of Serbia and Spain, while opening new avenues for deeper international collaboration in science, technology, and knowledge exchange.
