The SEE Energy Regional Business Conference, held under the slogan “Energy Transition Today: Challenges, Solutions, and Future Trends for a Sustainable Future,” took place at the Master Center of the Novi Sad Fair on October 28–29, 2025. The Mihajlo Pupin Institute was among the conference partners, with representatives Nebojša Radmilović, Borko Vušović, and Željko Damljanović taking part in the event.

During the panel discussion “Digitalization of Small Renewable Energy Sources: SCADA, Power Plant Controller, Asset Management, Cyber Security,” Nebojša Radmilović presented the Institute’s key research directions and ongoing development of advanced technologies in the field of electricity generation.

In conversation with the panel moderator, he reflected on the Institute’s experience in renewable energy projects and showcased Hybrid Intelligent Control, an innovative solution developed by IMP-Automatika for managing renewable energy sources. The system integrates three hierarchical levels – Power Plant Controller, Energy Management System, and Energy Intelligent System, designed to optimize the operation of solar power plants, ensure compliance with grid operator requirements, and support efficient participation in electricity markets.
