On Tuesday, September 30, in the Great Hall of the Mihajlo Pupin Institute, we held the first lecture of the XVI cycle of our professional lecture series dedicated to advancing the design of telecommunication networks and systems.

The topic of the opening lecture was: “Cable Infrastructure of Electronic Communication (EC) and Power (EE) Networks within Buildings, and Cable Connection of Buildings to Access EC and EE Networks.”

The event gathered a large number of professionals and interested participants, including engineers in telecommunications, power engineering, transportation, and technical security system designers. The interactive format, enriched by real project case studies and open discussions on current challenges and solutions, provided special value to attendees.

As part of the event, we also promoted the printed edition of the 2023/2024 Proceedings, based on presentations from the XIV cycle. This marks the third volume in the series, continuing the tradition of documenting and sharing knowledge on new technologies and the design of modern telecommunication networks and systems.

For 16 years now, this lecture series has brought together the professional community, offering insights into new technologies and standards, exchange of experience among designers, an overview of software tools and equipment available on the domestic market, and practical examples of design solutions.

At the Mihajlo Pupin Institute, we strongly believe in the importance of continuous professional development and fostering collaboration between the academic and engineering community. By organizing these lectures, we continue to actively support the scientific and professional community, encouraging knowledge exchange, monitoring technological advancements, and building connections between designers and researchers.
