The Gas Technology Center at the Institute Mihajlo Pupin hosted a live demonstration of its new test bench for gas appliances and equipment. The event brought together partners and long-standing collaborators, who were introduced to new features that enable more precise, faster, and more reliable testing under real operating conditions.
The new test bench was acquired in collaboration with the Italian company Microplan srl, which operates in full accordance with current European standards for gas and solid-fuel appliances. Thanks to this collaboration, the Institute now has equipment capable of supporting diverse testing modes and scenarios, shortening verification time while improving measurement accuracy.
The demonstration covered typical testing procedures, methods for recording and documenting results, and options for tailoring tests to the specific requirements of manufacturers and the market.
The Gas Technology Center is the country’s exclusive provider of testing for next-generation equipment, incorporating European standards and directives (ErP).
