At the Institute Mihajlo Pupin, we believe in knowledge and innovation, which is why we were proud to support the work of the student team from the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering, H-Bridges.
We would like to congratulate the students and their mentors on their remarkable success at the finals of this year’s IEEE International Future Energy Challenge 2025, held in Taiwan. In addition to securing a place among the world’s best teams, they won two prestigious awards: the Educational Impact Award and the Outstanding Presentation Award, and achieved an impressive 4th place overall, a testament to the quality of their work and dedication.

This year’s project focused on the development and design of a galvanically isolated switched-mode power supply for data center applications, including storage, processing, and distribution. The students demonstrated outstanding knowledge and technical skills through an exceptional prototype, which was further improved for the final stage of the competition.
The H-bridges team is made up of students from all departments of the School of Electrical Engineering, and the devices were developed at the Laboratory for Digital Control of Converters and Drives.

We are proud to have supported this team on their journey to international success. We remain committed to encouraging young, talented engineers whose work contributes to the advancement of energy-efficient technologies.
