As part of the final phase of implementing the Dispatcher and Trackside Telephony System and the Radio Dispatcher Communication System on the high-speed railway section from Novi Sad to Subotica, engineers from the Mihajlo Pupin Institute had the opportunity to present their solutions applied in this project and conduct training for the maintenance teams in the railway sector.
The presentation was held in the Institute’s ceremonial hall on June 4, while the hands-on training took place on June 5 at the “IMP-Telecommunications” laboratory. The training was attended by 23 participants from Serbian Railways Infrastructure, the Chinese contractor CRSC, and the supervisory body Utiber.
The training covered the operation of modern equipment, analysis of real-world field cases, and insights into the achieved and potential improvements in the use, monitoring, and maintenance of these systems, which are crucial for the safe operation of railway traffic.
Through both theoretical sessions and practical examples, participants discussed the challenges faced by dispatchers, train controllers, and maintenance teams in their daily use of these systems. The focus was on new technologies and how they can enhance the efficiency and safety of railway operations.

We believe that training sessions like this play a key role in improving work processes and strengthening collaboration between sectors, working together to build a safer and more modern railway system.
