Congratulations to the H-Bridges team from the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, on their outstanding achievement!

At the prestigious IEEE International Future Energy Challenge, held on March 16 in the USA, the H-Bridges student team successfully met all technical requirements and secured a place in the global finals, scheduled for July in Taiwan.

This year’s challenge involves developing an isolated DC-DC converter with fast transient response and low noise – a complex technical task that requires deep understanding of power electronics and innovative engineering solutions. The team is developing their solution within the Laboratory for Digital Control of Converters and Drives, where students gain valuable hands-on experience in solving real-world engineering problems.

After the semi-finals, the team also attended the APEC 2025 (Applied Power Electronics Conference) held in Atlanta from March 16–20.
The Mihajlo Pupin Institute was proud to support their participation in this major international event.

We will continue to support young and talented engineers – because they are building the future of energy efficiency and technological advancement.
