For the past five years, they have been actively working on traffic control projects for open road sections, delivering outstanding results such as receiving the “Best Colleagues” award.

“What we value most about working at the Institute is the opportunity to be part of a top-tier team in the Intelligent Transport Systems Development Department, led by Vladimir Nešić. Together, we take a holistic approach to solving complex technological challenges, providing our clients with innovative and tailored solutions,” said Nikola and Jelena.
In addition to Atlas Traffic, which has improved safety and efficiency in traffic management, they have contributed to the development of the RTL Express platform, the OPC UA communication protocol, and the application software for Serbian Railways’ Measurement Car project—all as members of the Intelligent Transport Systems team at IMP-Automatika.

“Knowing that our code plays a role in managing the Morava Corridor is something we’re incredibly proud of. The opportunities at the Institute are truly valuable, and seeing the real-world impact of our work—making traffic smarter, safer, and more efficient—is what motivates us every day,” they concluded.
