A delegation composed of representatives from Chongqing University, Southwest University, Chongqing Academy of Science and Technology, Chongqing Institute of Industrial Automation and Instrumentation, and Chongqing High-Tech Incubation Center visited the Mihajlo Pupin Institute and the Institute of Agricultural Economics in Belgrade. 

Initially, the guests were greeted by Nikola Tomašević, PhD, Director of the Mihajlo Pupin Institute, after which the working part of the meeting commenced. Participating in the meeting were scientific advisor Prof. Aleksandar Rodić, PhD, and senior research associate Valentina Janev, PhD, from our Institute, Prof.  Jonel Subić, PhD, from the Institute of Agricultural Economics, and Prof. Miroslav Trajanović, PhD, advisor to the minister in the Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation.

Professor Trajanović emphasized the importance of the visit in establishing future cooperation between the two countries and encouraged participants to plan joint research projects in the coming period.

During the meeting, research and development projects of the two Serbian institutes were presented, as well as new project ideas, emphasizing potential areas for future cooperation with Chinese partners. Members of the visiting delegation presented their academic institutions and development projects. They expressed satisfaction and interest in numerous areas and topics of mutual interest that would provide opportunities for knowledge exchange and potential cooperation between scientists from Chongqing and Belgrade.

The participants indicated the continuation of activities to establish mutual connections, and the guests from China extended an invitation to representatives of our institutes to visit Chongqing University in the People’s Republic of China soon.
