Between 23rd and 26th September, the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin” and “IMP-Telecommunications” took part at 112 EXPO Fair, which is held every other year at the Belgrade Fair.
The complete solutions for public alert and warning systems were presented, including electronic alarm sirens and devices for remote activation, as well as the equipment for connection of existing electrical sirens to the remote activation system.
In business terms, this was one of Institute’s most successful presentations since the awareness for timely response in emergency situations had raised after this year’s floods.
IMP-Telecommunications, alongside Iskratel Slovenia, presented a joint project of the 112 System, a single emergency telephone number for the police, the fire department and ambulance, the launching of which is planned for Serbia as well. The implementation of this joint number is expected to optimise the work of those departments, as well as boost the speed and efficiency of assistance to citizens in need.
On 25th September, the Institute’s associates gave a presentation entitled “Emergency Situation Systems “, as a part of the programme.
