Technical Fair, held in Belgrade from 12 to 16 May under the slogan “Step into the Future”, was opened by Mr. Rasim Ljajic, Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.
The Institute “Mihajlo Pupin ” participated at the Fair under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, as it did last year. The latest and the most attractive innovative products and technical solutions were displayed at our stand. They represent the results of the around twenty projects funded by the Ministry. The following results were presented: Solar power plant on the roof of the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin”, ARS AMEG simulator-training system implemented at block A4 of the Thermal Power Plant “Nikola Tesla A” Obrenovac (EPS), Security Services for internal GeoServer application on Linux OS, Radio modem with external scrambler, Module for multi-channel video processing , Multifractal analyzer for classification of cancer, TV-WEB -pilot presentation, Mobile robotic solar electric generator, Monitoring and control system for the tunnels Lipak and Zeleznik, Technical solution for control and supervision of toll collection, Simulator of micro-network with renewable energy based on SOFIA environment, Management of airport technical systems and simulation system intended for airport personnel training based on SOFIA environment, Rozeta – Software system for semantic text processing in a natural language, Software system for processing, validation and publication of statistical data in the Linked data format.
This year Jury of Experts of the International Technical Fair awarded the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin” with two A STEP INTO THE FUTURE traditional prizes of the International Technical Fair, the first one for Rozeta – a multilingual NLP and Linked Data tool and the second for the Multifractal analyzer for the classification of cancer.
