The Workshop on the support to the innovation Innovation for Competitiveness? Assessment of Serbian Innovation and Competitiveness Support Programmes was held in Mihajlo Pupin Institute in the form of dialogue on 29/09/2011.

fotoandrej-cukicThe Workshop was organized by the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of education and science in the cooperation with SME Competitiveness and Innovation Project, financed by EU, and Mihajlo Pupin Institute. The participants, among whom there were Mrs. Dragijana Radonjic Petrovic, the State Secretary in the Ministry of economy, and Mrs. Nada Dragovic, the Assistant Minister in the Ministry of education and science, were first greeted by dr Vladan Batanovic ,the General Manager of Mihajlo Pupin Institute.

Introductory lectures were very inspiring and the lecturers were the experts in the field of the development management:

  • Science-industry links in central, eastern and south-eastern Europe; conventional policy wisdom faces reality, Slavo Radosevic – The Center for Comparative Economics, University College London
  • What makes collaboration between science and industry happen? ; Gerd Meier zu Koecker – The Manager of the Institute for Innovation and Technology, IIT, Berlin
  • Assessment of Serbian Innovation and Competitiveness Support Programmes; main findings; Djuro Kutlaca – The Science and Technology Policy Research Center of Mihajlo Pupin Institute, Belgrade.
