Republic of Serbia was the partner country at this year’s 13th International Business Fair, held from 13 to 17 April 2010th in Mostar. In addition to the fact that this fair represents the most important trade event in Bosnia and Herzegovina is the information that it brought together 700 exhibitors from 40 countries. The exhibition of 50 Serbian companies was organized by Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Agency for Foreign Investment and Export Promotion (SIEPA) at the national stand of Serbia.

mostar2010_4-6744934In the most comprehensive performance in foreign trade fairs, so far, the Institute presented programs and innovative potentials, mostly in energetic, telecommunications and traffic management to the public in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Fair was opened by Serbian President Boris Tadic, and after that the official delegation, including Minister of Economy Dinkic, the Republic of Srpska Prime Minister Milorad Dodik, president of the HDZ in Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Covic, the Croatian Parliament Vice-President Joseph Friščić, Mayor of Mostar Ljubo Beslic, representatives of the diplomatic corps and other officials, made a round of the Fair. During the brief visit of President Tadic to our stand, director of the Institute Dr. Vladan Batanović introduced him with the most recent developments and programs in our Institute.

The special significance for the further cooperation, establishment of new and renewing of the old connections with potential business partners had been the visit of the President of the HDZ in Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Covic and Director of the Fair Dalfina Bosnjak to our stand.
