Michael Walter from Switzerland has spent two months at the Institute Mihailo Pupin on a practical training exchange programme. Toward the end of his stay he talked about his impressions on working among our researchers:
“I am master student of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at ETH Zürich and came to Serbia by IAESTE student exchange program. During two months I had the unique opportunity to work as an intern in the Telecommunication group of Institute Mihailo Pupin.
Through the knowledge and great experience people at Mihailo Pupin have in hardware designing I could profit a lot for my studies and my future. During my work here I was impressed how much effort the company puts into device prototype testing quality management. I am convinced, this attitude enables them to design very high quality products also compared with European standards.
I experienced that people at Pupin are very good team worker and especially the Telecommunication group is like some big family. In fact I never felt as a stranger at all among them but always got help and support from all sides. I believe this positive spirit, how people work together here, is what makes Institute Mihailo Pupin a great and successful company.
This stay in Serbia and Mihailo Pupin I will never forget and I would like to thank the Institute for this chance, they gave to me. It will definitely not be the last time I visit Belgrade”
