Adaptive Middleware for Context Aware Intelligent Systems
AMICA is a project which is founded by the Ministry of Science, Serbia. AMICA project aims at researching adaptive middlewares for context aware systems. Three basic topics for the project is Pervasive-Adaptive Infrastructure, Representing and Processing Semantic Knowledge and Monitoring events on web. Special attention will be dedicated to methods and techniques of combining heterogeneous pervasive-adaptive components in real-time.
One of topics on the project is techniques for representing and processing semantic knowledge, which covers more research areas, i.e. knowledge representation, natural language processing, information retrieval, searching etc. Monitoring events on web is necessary to detect context change and support reactivity and adaptiveness.
