On 25th and 26th of November, as part of the EUSOME Project, the Institute Mihajlo Pupin hosted researchers from the coordinator’s team Prof. George Ellinas, dr Christian Vitale, and Yiannis Grigoriou from the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence, as well as representatives of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Mrs. Josephine Boineau i Mrs. Anna Kobierzycka

A stakeholders engagement session was organized with representatives from the Serbia including representatives of the Civil Aviation Directorate, the Emergency Management Sector, and Post of Serbia.

The EUSOME team together with the colleagues from the Institute Mihajlo Pupin (dr Valentina Janev, dr Slavica Boštjančič Rakas, prof. dr Aleksandar Rodić, dr Jelena Ilić, dr Nikola Zogović, i dr Milos Jevtić) worked on identifying regional requirements for Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and analyzing existing unmanned aircraft flight regulations in Serbia. The analysis of the mentoring program also continued, with the goal of preparing materials for effective knowledge transfer.

The guests also visited the premises of IMP–Computer Systems Ltd., where they were presented with the program for special-purpose systems, such as flight simulators, unmanned aircraft control systems, and more.
