As part of the EUSOME Project, the Mihajlo Pupin Institute hosted representatives of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Emil Wrzosek and Anna Kobierzycka, who collaborated with the Institute’s team: Valentina Janev, PhD, Slavica Boštjančič Rakas, PhD, Una Kisic, MsC, Prof. Aleksandar Rodić, Nikola Zogovic, PhD, and Milos Jevtic, to design a mentorship program tailored to the local innovation ecosystem.

The guests also visited the International Fair of Technics, where they had the opportunity to connect with researchers, universities, and tech companies and learn about their latest achievements.

The goal of the EUSOME project is to promote research and innovation in the field of advanced air mobility in Southeastern Europe, taking into account the specific challenges posed by the region’s geographical features. This type of air mobility would bring multiple benefits, from reducing traffic congestion to contributing to the climate resilience of ecosystems. However, there are currently regulatory barriers, a lack of coherent research and innovation infrastructure, and an absence of specialized mentorship programs. That is why EUSOME is taking on a key role as a driving force to help make advanced air mobility an integral part of the region’s transportation landscape.
