In the Great Hall of the Mihajlo Pupin Institute, on Thursday, June 16, 2022, prof. Mirko Vujosevic, PhD, full professor at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, gave a lecture entitled “326 years of optimization and problems of optimal decision making.”
The lecture, a kind of homage to the recently deceased professor Radivoje Petrović, systematically included the most important information related to the historical development of optimization methods, while special attention was paid to modern problems of optimal decision-making. We thank all the colleagues who responded to the invitation to attend this interesting lecture, emphasizing that the questions that attendees asked gave a special dynamics to the discussion after the lecture.
The lecture was organized by the Mihajlo Pupin Institute and the Department of Mining, Geological and Systems Sciences of the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Serbia.
