A remarkable international achievement for the H-Bridges team was celebrated at the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering, recognizing the students’ outstanding performance at the International Future Energy Challenge (IFEC), held under the auspices of IEEE.

Competing against 30 university teams from around the world in one of the leading international student competitions in power electronics, H-Bridges secured fourth place and received the Best Technical Report Award for their project, “Bidirectional On-Board Charger for Electric Vehicles.”

The Mihajlo Pupin Institute is proud to support H-Bridges and young engineers whose knowledge, dedication and innovative ideas are gaining recognition on the international stage.
Representing the Institute at the ceremony, Željko Damljanović, an engineer at IMP-Automatika and a former student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, congratulated the team on their achievement.

“Our collaboration with the H-Bridges team is an investment in young people who have the knowledge, energy and enthusiasm to put their ideas into practice and who will play an important role in shaping the future of the energy and electrical engineering sectors in our country. It is particularly important to us to support initiatives that give students the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice,” said Damljanović.

During the event, the team presented the key aspects of the technical solution that earned them international recognition, as well as their plans for the upcoming period. They also announced a new project, “Multi-Purpose Power Conditioning System,” through which H-Bridges will continue developing innovative solutions in power electronics and advanced energy systems.
Congratulations to the entire H-Bridges team on this outstanding achievement, and we wish them every success in the new competition season!
