After we had received the trademark’s recognition for our products ARES, ATLAS Max, ATLAS MAX RTL and pikoATLAS last year, the Institute protected trademark for electronic tolling system e-Go. With this trademark both hardware and software products of our electronic tolling system are covered. Besides in Serbia the name e-Go is now protected in dozen countries mostly in the region, in Russia and several African countries.
In order to become and stay competitive all companies have to pay attention to innovations and new products based on it. Trademarks represent only one aspect of intellectual property protection. There are also other legal means for it’s’ protection. Every company, small or big, should take care of their intellectual property. Patents, business secrets, industrial design, trademarks, copyrights, new plant varieties or even topography of integrated circuits can be protected.
