The first consortium meeting of the STUNNED project partners was recently held at ENERGY POOL in Le Bourget-du-Lac, with the Mihajlo Pupin Institute playing a key role. The primary objective of the meeting was to review the project’s progress to date and outline the next steps in developing a comprehensive software and hardware solution for an energy aggregator.
The Mihajlo Pupin Institute makes a significant contribution to the integration of heterogeneous energy management systems into a connected, functional, and interoperable energy flexibility aggregation platform. This is made possible through its extensive expertise and proven portfolio of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and DCS (Distributed Control Systems) solutions.

“In the first seven months of the project, the consortium has focused on analyzing the European flexibility market and existing aggregation technologies, as well as on identifying the characteristics and needs of end users across the demonstration sites in France, Italy, and Spain. That’s why the visit to Energy Pool and the tour of the French demo site were especially important for our ongoing design activities and future implementation steps for the STUNNED solution,” said Katarina Stankovic, a researcher at the Institute.

We sincerely thank our colleagues at Energy Pool for their warm hospitality and impeccable organization. We look forward to continuing our joint efforts toward a more flexible and sustainable energy future.
