The 67th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements was held in Belgrade from May 20 to 23. It featured the Government of Serbia’s exhibition “Play for Humanity! Science for Everyone” under the slogan “Innovations Change the World.” A group of 23 male and 6 female students from different grades of the Sixth Belgrade Gymnasium visited the Mihajlo Pupin Institute booth.

The students, who are enrolled in the IT program, had the opportunity to expand their knowledge from classes and extracurricular IT activities through hands-on demonstrations and models. As they noted, this visit helped them get a real-world sense of what the field of information technology looks like in practice.

The Institute’s team — Isidora Simeunović, Milica Lozanović, Uroš Minoski, and Nikolas Stivens — showed great enthusiasm in preparing demo models, games, and valuable prizes for the most successful students, helping to bring the world of IT a bit closer to them.

On the other hand, the students’ participation was made possible thanks to the dedicated efforts of their teachers, Mirjana Ćetojević and Nataša Djurić Lazović.

We are glad the students left inspired and enriched with new knowledge. We look forward to the next opportunity to introduce young talents to the world of information technology.
