CERN – the world’s largest laboratory for elementary particle research – is not only a place of revolutionary discoveries but also a symbol of international collaboration. Thanks to our country’s full membership in this organization, scientists from Serbia have the opportunity to take part in cutting-edge research and technological innovations.
This collaboration was the focus of the presentation “Cooperation Between Technical Institutes of the Republic of Serbia and CERN,” held on Wednesday, March 19, at the Nikola Tesla Institute.

“As one of the leading institutes in the region, with expertise in industrial automation, telecommunications, and high-tech systems, the Mihajlo Pupin Institute recognizes the strategic importance of collaborating with CERN. Our team of experts actively contributes to projects focused on developing sophisticated systems for scientific research – from advanced electronics to software solutions for data processing. This event provided an opportunity to strengthen ties between local research centers and CERN, paving the way for innovations and joint ventures in fundamental and applied science,” said Dr. Zogović.

We sincerely thank the organizers and all participants for the insightful discussions and look forward to advancing our collaboration with CERN!
