In December, we hosted bright, curious, and talented final-year students from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, for two consecutive days.

After an introduction to the Institute’s rich history, students had the opportunity to learn about the latest industry trends, gain insights into our current projects, and explore the advanced tools and programs we use daily.

The highlight of the visit, judging by the lively discussions and thoughtful questions, was undoubtedly the practical segment. Students had the chance to:

  • Witness the functionality of a multifunctional process computer from the Atlas family, developed at the Institute,
  • Observe our turbine simulation program in action,
  • Explore a toll collection test site with real-world components, and
  • Examine our latest telecommunication and embedded systems, designed for diverse industries (utilities, railways, etc.), including an overview of production and testing processes.

The second group delved into how we developed an information system for over 130 local tax administrations, the operations of e-government, and access rights management, and even tested our tank and aircraft simulators.

Over lunch from our cafeteria, we shared details about our internship programs and the benefits of building a career at the Institute.

A heartfelt thank you to all the students who joined us—we look forward to welcoming the next group of enthusiastic young minds!
