A recent presentation titled “Measurement and Regulation, SCADA Systems, Automation and Industry 4.0” took place at the “Mihajlo Pupin” Institute. Professionals in telecommunications and automation, telecommunication network and system designers, and other interested electrical engineers had the opportunity to attend in person or via the Zoom platform. The lecture covered the latest EU regulations related to AI, the application of modern technologies in various fields in Serbia, and the development of top-quality products recognized at the European level.

Željko Stojković, Assistant General Director of the “Mihajlo Pupin” Institute for Finance and Industry Cooperation, presented railway signaling and telecommunication systems of domestic production. These systems are recognized in the European market, thanks to the SIL4 certification, which guarantees the highest level of device reliability in practical use. The interactive presentation showcased LED railway signals and the UPT system, successfully integrating traditional railway technology with modern solutions like GSM-R and TETRA. Participants also had the opportunity to see the SPDC console, an exhibit that made its debut at the InnoTrans fair in Berlin.

Branko Berić from E-security discussed the European Union’s Artificial Intelligence Regulation, while Andreja and Aljoša Petojević demonstrated the use of modern technologies in preserving and digitizing cultural heritage.
Danijel Lipovac from Telekom presented examples of implemented IoT technologies for smart agriculture in Serbia, such as digital assistants for orchards, vineyards, silos, warehouses, and more.
