The Fair took place in Banja Luka from 7th to 9th November on two locations: at cultural centre Banski dvor and at Mercator centre. Alongside local innovators, Centre for the Advancement of Science and the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin” from Belgrade took part at this popular science festival. Our humanoid robot Nao which is 58 cm tall and can move, dance, do karate, talk and obey orders, draw the biggest attention.

According to our colleague Svemir Popic’s statement in the Republic Srpska media, Nao is an advanced robot, worth about 20,000 euros, despite the toy-like appearance. It has sensors and cameras which allow it to avoid hitting into obstacles while moving. It also has ultrasonic speech sensors and can “communicate” in 8 world languages and in Serbian too.
