As the part of the one-day reward excursion, the students of the 7th grade and teachers of the elementary school “Mihailo Pupin” from Idvor visited our Institute on Thursday, the 23rd of October.
The General Manager of the Institute Dr Vladan Batanovic welcomed them and emphasized the importance of studing and good education for engaging in science and working in R&D organizations such as the Institute “Mihailo Pupin”. The Institute started giving scholarships to the students of the final grade of the elementary school in Idvor last year, so, the students of these generation were inviited to study hard and make efforts to earn the scholarship for the further studies.
The children had a chance to learn more about the history and activities of our Institute through conversation and entertainment. The movie about the Institute was shown to the children. At the end, the lunch at the Institute’s restaurant was prepared for them and they got symbolic presents which would remind them of the time spent at the Institute.
