Edu-lab and DTP Capitalization Strategy
During the transnational working meeting of Learning by Doing project, Dusica Semencenko presented the Edu-lab project at the session devoted to capitalization of DTP projects results. DTP Capitalization strategy (in Thematic Pole 9 – Educational governance) considered these two projects as a complementary in the sense that both aim to address same societal challenges, but focus on divers levels of education systems. This meeting was the first one among prospective joint activities.
24th conference „Technology, culture and development”
24th conference „Technology, culture and development” will be held at Srebrno jezero, Serbia, from 4th to 7th September 2017. This year’s conference will also have three main topics. Application for conference participation has to be sent to e-mail cirnt@pupin.rs till 17.8.2017.
EDU-LAB project meeting and workshop
On May 30th and 31st, the second EDU-LAB project partner meeting was held at the Mihajlo Pupin Institute. Present were project partners which take part in the work package related to the analysis of existing governance models regarding the labour market relevance of higher education in the Danube region, as well as on the development of tools for improving knowledge and skills of stakeholders in this field. On the second day was held a workshop for EDU-LAB stakeholders.
Ambassador of Finland visits IMP
Ambassador of Finland in Serbia, His Excellency Mr. Pertti Ikonen visited the Institute "Mihajlo Pupin" on July 21. On behalf of the IMP he was welcomed by Dr Vladan Batanović who presented the organization and activities of the Institute. As the mutual wish for cooperation concerning policies of technological development and innovation in Serbia was expressed, the meeting continued with the CIRNT team members. The participants shared experiences and discussed the possibilities for further cooperation between IMP-CIRNT and institutions and experts from Finland.
23rd conference „Technology, culture and development“
23rd conference „Technology, culture and development” will be held in Tivat, Montenegro, from August 29 to September 2, 2016. The topics of this year’s conference will be: 1. New bio-technology with focus on new bio-medicine targeted toward solving the most important health problems; 2. Preferable and possible development specialization in Western Balkan countries; 3. Education of engineers.
Internationalization of SMEs businesses
An informational workshop for companies, potential clients of Enterprise Europe Network - EEN, entitled "How to internationalize business through the Enterprise Europe Network", was held In the Mihajlo Pupin Institute on Jun 13th, 2016.
Members of the EEN team from the Mihajlo Pupin Institute presented the ways in which the project EEN helps SMEs to internationalize their businesses. Workshop topics were: EEN services, Participation in business meetings, Preparation of business and technology profiles, How to use EEN portal to search for business opportunities, Evaluation of business innovativeness. The forthcoming B2B events in Pecs and Amsterdam were also promoted during the workshop.
Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions about the EEN services and/or to improve their understanding of the Network functioning.
