The second consortium meeting of the CAROUSEL Interreg IPA ADRION project was held in Skopje, bringing together nine partners from five countries. Among them were representatives of the Mihajlo Pupin Institute — Nađa Ćirović and Zorica Dodevska from the Center for Research in Science and Technology Development (CIRNT), participating as one of the partners from Serbia. During the meeting, they presented the results achieved in the first project period.

Special focus was given to the online workshop held on May 23, 2025, titled “Upcycling community legislative, business, and socio-economic environment analysis.” The presentation was delivered in collaboration with the Regional Agency for Spatial and Economic Development of Raška and Moravica Districts, a partner from Kraljevo. Plans for the upcoming pilot project in Serbia were also presented.

As a result of the meeting, further steps were defined for launching the marketplace platform, which will include pilot projects from Italy, Greece, Slovenia, and Serbia. Additionally, emphasis was placed on increasing awareness of upcycling among future stakeholders and the wider community, as well as on strengthening and developing the existing upcycling community in Serbia.
