{"id":1857,"date":"2025-05-17T10:02:49","date_gmt":"2025-05-17T09:02:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pupin.rs\/cirnt\/?p=1857"},"modified":"2025-05-17T10:03:44","modified_gmt":"2025-05-17T09:03:44","slug":"world-cafe-held-at-the-institute-mihajlo-pupin-as-part-of-the-re-fem-project-recommendations-defined-for-improving-the-position-of-women-entrepreneurs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pupin.rs\/cirnt\/world-cafe-held-at-the-institute-mihajlo-pupin-as-part-of-the-re-fem-project-recommendations-defined-for-improving-the-position-of-women-entrepreneurs\/","title":{"rendered":"World Caf\u00e9 Held at the Institute Mihajlo Pupin  as Part of the RE-FEM Project: Recommendations Defined for Improving the Position of Women Entrepreneurs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of the Erasmus+ project RE-FEM (Upskilling pathways for REsiliency in the post-COVID era for FEMale Entrepreneurs), the Institute Mihajlo Pupin organised a World Caf\u00e9 event on May 8, 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1754 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pupin.rs\/cirnt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The goal of the event is to define recommendations through open discussions between women entrepreneurs and stakeholders in five key areas\u00a0to improve women entrepreneurs' position.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1754 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pupin.rs\/cirnt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The thematic areas discussed were:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Support for women-led StartUp and ScaleUp companies through access to finance, non-formal education, and business networking (moderator: Ana \u017degarac, Development Agency of Serbia)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rural entrepreneurship (moderator: Dragana Panajotovi\u0107, Association of Business Women of Serbia)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Digital transformation (moderator: Tijana Sekuli\u0107, AT Consulting)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Women\u2019s entrepreneurship and education with a focus on male-dominated sectors (moderator: Zorica Dodevska, Mihajlo Pupin Institute)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Investment and development (moderator: Iva Vuksanovi\u0107, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1754 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pupin.rs\/cirnt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1754 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pupin.rs\/cirnt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The working part of the event was structured around five tables, each facilitated by a female moderator representing a relevant stakeholder institution. A total of 27 participants, including representatives of companies and organisations that support women\u2019s entrepreneurship, actively contributed their knowledge and experience to defining key steps for progress in these areas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1754 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pupin.rs\/cirnt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the end of the event, the moderators presented the conclusions from their respective tables, while dr Sanja Popovi\u0107 Panti\u0107, Head of the Science and Technology Policy Research Centre of the Institute Mihajlo Pupin and RE-FEM project coordinator, summarised all the recommendations.
