Primary research interest is the performance of disks and file systems, with special emphasis on the family of operating systems UNIX / Linux. He is involved in many projects in the areas of disk caching, journaling techniques, RAID solutions, LVM options, techniques for data recovery from hard disks and other media, optimization and security of network services on operating system Linux. His research has given the most significant result in the field of journaling techniques. This technique is responsible for increasing the reliability of metadata operations in file systems, and has a significant impact on performance. He has examined and optimized journaling technique for different file systems, internal and external journaling function, and simulation of journaling techniques through NVRAM memory. Djordjevic has contributed in the area of the RAID solution, where he has analyzed and optimized the various RAID levels, as well as software and hardware options. | |
