The Laboratory for testing electromagnetic compatibility of electrical devices was opened today in the Mihajlo Pupin Institute. Many guests and media representatives attended the ceremony. The red ribbon was cut by Mr Vincent Degert, Head of the Delegation of the European Union in Serbia and prof. dr Sanja Vranes, Director General of the Mihajlo Pupin Institute.
Opening of the new laboratory, the first of such kind in Serbia and the region, worth 1 million euros, was funded by the European Commission through the Regional socio-economic development program (RSEDP II). The name of the laboratory is the Idvorsky laboratories. It is equipped with completely new measuring equipment which will contribute to the competitiveness of the domestic ICT industry through reducing products development costs and create conditions for products testing according to the electromagnetic compatibility standards.
