At the 57th International Technical Fair, which was held from 13 to 17 May, scientific and technological achievements of 64 scientific organizations and institutions were presented under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia. Exhibition event was opened by Zarko Obradovic, Minister of Education in the Government of Serbia, who said that the Technical Fair represented the opportunity to test the position of Serbia in the field of new technologies and their application.

At the Institute’s stand the most up to date and innovative products, results of the research on projects funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, were shown. Among the most notable were the following results: SOFIA prototype application for management in crisis situations  at the airport Nikola Tesla, system for simulation and planning of distributed microgrids based on renewable energy, Industrial processor “Qseven” based on the DM8168 processor, Wireless Sensor Network, Simulator-trainer for thermal power plant, PowerWeb – Web application for monitoring of SCADA system, VIEW system configurator, projects in the field of telecommunications and transport, and so on.

Also, on the stand which Centre for Robotics of the Institute “Mihajlo Pupin” shared with Italian partners, robot “DENSO” was presented. This robot is able to recognize colors on the small cubes (using the installed camera) and then select, collect and organize them to represent Italian flag.
