The third revitalized aggregate of the HPP ” Bajina Basta”” was officially put into operation on 9th October and thus began the fourth stage of the revitalization of this hydro power plant.
In the rehabilitation task, together with the employees of the HPP “Bajina Basta”, the Austrian company “Andritz Hydro” was engaged, as well as several domestic companies, among them IMP-Automation and Control which has delivered a complete DCS.
The commissioning ceremony in HPP “Bajina Basta” was attended by Ivica Dacic, the Serbian prime minister, Prof. Zorana Mihajlovic, Minister for Energy, Environment and Development, Prof. Dr. Petar Skundric, adviser to the Minister for Energy, Dr. Aca Markovic, Chairman of the Board of Power Industry of Serbia (EPS), Aleksandar Obradovic, Acting General Director of EPS, representatives of the German and Austrian Embassies, German development bank KfW, and representatives of the contractors companies.
