On the occasion of the tenth of July – Nikola Tesla’s Birthday and the Science Day of Serbia, the Board of the Foundation “Nikola Tesla”, at the proposal of the Tesla Award Committee chaired by Prof. Dr. Miloš Nedeljković, decided to grant two equal TESLA AWARDS for the superior technical engineering and technological achievements in 2011.

One of the awards was granted the members of IMP R&D team – Bojan Papić, Nebojša Panjevac and Milutin Sаvičеvić – for the applied technical and technological achievement, “Distributed System for Monitoring and Process Control DCS – View Power.”

The awarded will get Tesla plaquettes and certificates at a special ceremony, as the symbols of one of the most prestigious awards for the creative work in the Republic of Serbia.

On this occasion, Bojan Papic, one of the awarded, said: “I see this award as a serious and great recognition to all colleagues who participated in the realization of the large projects of the control systems in the power plants. Unfortunately, Tesla’s Foundation does not have the concept of collective recognition. Thus we consider that choice of Neša Panjevac and me as candidates for the individual award, is not only a personal recognition, but also an obligation to promote a major contribution of the IMP-Automation and Control team to the success of this, no doubt, pretentious project in the Balkan region. “

Congratulations to our awarded colleagues and to all members of the IMP-Automation and Control team. We wish them to keep achieving the top results in their work.
