Delegation of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, visiting the Institute, was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation Jasna Brkic. In the delegation were also Ministers of Transport and Communications, Industry, Energy and Mines and Science and Technology with their associates.
Visit was organized following the contacts with officials in Banja Luka who responded to the invitation for presentation of the Institute’s capabilities and readiness for cooperation. Institute’s references and potentials in the field of ICT were presented to our guests and our readiness to to engage in development and application of information technology, especially in the field of Electric Power, Water Supply Industry, Traffic Management and Electronic Government. Further discussions, after the presentation, were about the expansion of internatiotional scientific and commercial cooperation.
Institute “Mihajlo Pupin” has, for several years now, very successful collaboration on research projects with the University of Banja Luka and on commercial projects with the Electric Power Industry of the Republic of Srpska and HPP Trebinje.
