In the period from 15th to 18th June 2009 the 53rd ETRAN Conference was held in Vrnjacka Spa. The conference is traditionally organized by ETRAN, professional Society for Electronics, Telecommunications, Computers, Automatic Control and Nuclear Engineering. A large number of our associates took participation in the work of the conference and they have presented the Institute’s achievements through the series of papers.
Two associates, whose work was declared the best in the respective areas last year, have received awards in the form of ETRAN Conference plaque. The awarded associates were Nebojša Radmilović, employed with „IMP-Automation & Control” for the paper „One solution of the main regulator in the power plants“and Valentina Timčenko from „IMP-Telecommunications“, for the paper „Evaluation of Linux Archives on Kernel 2.6“.
At this year’s ETRAN conference more than 20 papers of Institute’s associates were presented.
