In memoriam prof. dr Vlastimir Matejić
In Belgrade, on June 10, 2019, the founder of the Science and Technology Policy Research Center, prof. dr Vlastimir Matejić, passed away. During his long research and scientific career prof. Matejić made a significant contribution to the scientific fields related to organizational sciences, especially in the field of economics of technological change and innovation development. He was Director General of the Institute Mihajlo Pupin, Federal Minister of Science and Technology, President of the European Movement in Serbia, and he also performed many other functions related to the field of his scientific work.
He will remain to us the founder and the first director of the CIRNT, of the scientific conference “Technology, Culture and Development” and the Association “Technology and Culture”, and above all as a colleague and teacher whose work and always inexhaustible ideas guided and inspired us.
