OBJECTIVES
Main objective
Enhancing researchers' public recognition notably through offering the public at large in all its components, whichever their age and scientific background, the opportunity of discovering the "human face" of research via direct exchanges and discussions with the researchers, as well as understanding the impact of research on their daily lives.
Specific objectives
- Bringing closer ot one another researchers and public at large with a view to increasing their mutual knowledge and reciprocal understanding.
- Raising the public awareness of the researchers' contribution to both technological and nontechnological innovation, social innovation, overall progress and development.
- Promoting research carried out in Serbia and researchers as a role models.
- Stimulating youth interest in science and encouraging them to embark on science careers in science.
- Pointing out the importance of the EU support to researchers and science in Serbia, as well as stressing the importance of European and international cooperation in research.
Quantitative objectives
- 2.000.000 people made aware of the Researchers' night and its objectives through the awareness campaign.
- 50.000 direct attendees during the events.
